ABOUT BLENDS Blends Aromatherapy was set up by Fran Hughes who developed an interest in Aromatherapy when coping with motherhood and a stressful job. The benefits she observed led her to study Aromatherapy and Essential Oil Science at Neal's Yard Remedies in London. This demanding course included Anatomy and Physiology, the Chemistry of the Oils and how to use them and therapeutic massage techniques. Fran undertook a further course in Infant Massage (FHT accredited) having seen the health and wellbeing benefits of positive touch. She is a full member of the International Federation of Professional Aromatherapists. She has a PGCE teaching certificate, is CRB checked and has an Emergency First Aid certificate. © 2009 Blends Aromatherapy
